Capt. Jesse Moore
I became interested in Cowboy Action Shooting in 1995 while involved in IPSC. It’s only taken me 10 years to gear up, and track down like minded folk. My "Wild West" arsenal consists of two Cimarron P-frame Single Action Army’s in .45 Long Colt (a 7 ½" Artillery model and a 4 ¾" Peacemaker), a .45 LC Winchester 1892 Short Rifle reproduction by Armi Chiappa (the screws are even SAE!) and a Norinco double 12 ga. Coach Gun with external hammers. Homemade gun leather keeps it all right handy. I load IMR Trail boss for added safety and plan on a journey to the "Dark Side" with black powder this summer of 2007.

Capt. Jesse Moore was a Texas Ranger west of the Pecos in the 1890’s.

Caycuse Kid

Courtenay Kid
I have been involved in Cowboy Action Shooting in 2004. I shoot .45 Ruger Vaquero .45 Winchester Model 94, and 12 gauge shotgun.
I got my alias because I have lived in Courtenay all my life.

Crazy Horse

Dodge City Deb
Dreams really do come true! As a youngster I always dreamed of being a cowgirl. Pretty lofty ideal for a young girl brought up on a military base in Nova Scotia. The closest I came to the wild west was television and my Hop Along Cassidy lunch box.
I live in a small historical mining town, population 2,100, in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island by the name of Cumberland. (affectionatly referred to as "Dodge City" by its long time residents.) Deb is a shortened form of my name, and thats where my alias "Dodge City Deb" comes from.
I've been a "Valley Regulator" and shooting since 2006. I clear my schedule every 3rd Saturday of the month - just to live out my dream!

Erick
I have been involved in Cowboy Action Shooting since July 2006. I was interested in the sport before that but never got around to participating; Once I did that was the end of it for me, I was hooked. The guns I shoot are .45 handgun 44-40 rifle, and 12 gauge shotgun.
I got my alias when I was born, it was given to me by my mother and Father. I'll let you all know when I think of a better one.

Haweater Hal
People from Manitoulin Island in Lake Huron have been called haweaters since the 1800's. Ask Hal to tell you the story. Haweater Hal came West to Vancouver Island in ''71 for military service. After many years as a military engineer and working in the resource industries, he settled in Victoria. He now travels north regularly to lend his engineering expertise in the construction of Boom Town.

High Country Amigo

Itchy Finger
I am twelve years old so I shoot in the category of Rim Fire Rangler. I use two .22 handguns a .22 rifle and a 4-10 shotgun. My dad got me into the sport.
My favourite part is that my family can all take part. I like to dress up. (My mom makes a lot of my costumes.)
I got my alias because I had exzema on my fingers. So my family told me to have Itchy Finger as my alias. I have been shooting cowboy action since 2005.

Kananaskis Kid
Born in ranch country in southwestern Alberta. Started shooting at an early age and got my first six gun at the age of 16. Started shooting cowboy action Feb, 2005. Use Ruger new Vaqueros, .45 cal for handguns, a Marlin 1894 CBC or Uberti 1873 for rifle, and a hammerless Stoeger coach gun or Bailcal external hammer for shotgun.
The character for my alias is based on a real cowboy, Cap Thomas, who had a ranch north of Pincher Creek, east of the Kananaskis. He dressed flashy, and had an ivory-handled, nickel-plated Colt. Cot in a gun fight during a card game and shot a gambler.
The name for my alias is the result of my having spent some time working on a seismograph crew in the Kananaskis country 40 years ago.

Nevada
Family story goes, the First White girl child born in Nevada was an early ancester and was called Nevada. Internet says different but family history is better. So I used alias Nevada.
Got involved in CAS between 1998 and 2001. I shoot doelest with .45 73 Uberti and a .45 Remington copy Uberti I try to shoot it the way I believe someone in 1890 era would shoot, one handed with handgun and as accurate as I can be with rifle and shotgun.

Slick Nick

Ticklewood Kid
Alias comes from our farms name "Ticklewood Farm". Been involved in Cowboy Action Shooting since 2003.
The part I enjoy the most about CAS is the people.
I shoot .45 Colt and 44-40 Winchester, in the Frontier Cartrige catagory.

Victoria Diamond
Originally from the small village of McBride at the headwaters of the Fraser River, Victoria grew restless as a young girl and sought education and adventure in eastern Canada. She returned west with her husband, Haweater Hal, to seek fame and fortune in Western Canada's oldest city, named in honour of Queen Victoria. A fashionable lady, Victoria Diamond has a taste for fine jewellery and knows how to protect it.
